Suppliers & Manufacturers
[Products and services used by our club.]
- CompuFoil
CompuFoil was developed to
be an "Automated" CAD system. You can quickly
and easily produce leading edge shaping guides, foam
templates, individual ribs, full sets of ribs, planform
layouts, root/tip foam templates with sub ribs, complete
with spars, leading edges, jig holes, etc. You simply
give CompuFoil the basic information, and
it does the rest.
- MotoCalc
Capable Computing is the home of MotoCalc
an easy-to-use electric model aircraft power system
and flight performance prediction software package.
Visit the MotoCalc page for more information

Old-timer
Sites
Just
Plain Fun!
- Kenny's
Old Time Model Airplane Magazine
My latest find. You won't be disappointed. Trust me.
Kenny has created a site that all us Webmasters can
envy.
- The Plan Page
How about a place where you can get oldtimer scale plans?
The Flying Aces Club has done it with scans of some
really good stuff. The files are zipped or full PDF
format. If I were you, I'd do what the Comet Kid has
done. Download this collection and use your CD burner
to archive them. I now can realize my dream of building
all Earl Stahl's scale designs. After unzipping and
printing the pages, it's off to Kinko's to enlarge to
the scale I want for electric flying. How about the
Fokker DVIII by Harry Shaffer? And, where are
you going to get Ying's Fuselage Model?
- Fiddler's
Green
How would you like a free sailplane? That's right, we
said FREE. Click this
link and download the Adobe Acrobat®
PDF file. (Acrobat software is free from Adobe
too.) When you arrive, right click on the image to download.
Print it out on an 8 1/2" * 11"sheet of paper.
Explore the world of Fiddler's
Green paper airplanes - paper airplanes unlike the
old Wheaties box planes. These are gorgeous
and you don't have to eat the cereal! Don't believe
us? Check out the images below.
